Konexx does not have a product that would enable analog data equipment to connect on the "digital" phone service provided by 
cable companies such as Comcast,Time Warner AT&T, etc.. Typically, the "digital" phone service provided by cable companies 
is still analog inside the premise. They provide a conversion box (often referred to as a gateway), which converts the analog
connection inside the premise to digital when on the trunk lines (cable lines). The analog connection inside the premise is 
substantiated by the service not requiring special digital telephone sets when subscribing to the service. The issue for analog 
data equipment (faxes and modems) is that the digital format on the trunk side is a packetized format similar to VOIP. The 
analog data has problems due to delays in receiving or lost packets that are not noticed in voice communications.


If your analog data device allows setting (selecting) the DCE rate (connection baud rate), you may have a fairly high connection
success by setting that connect rate to 2400 baud or lower. The DCE rate is often set by an "S" register command (usually S37 register).
